Todays affair was one that is close to our hearts here & Sugar Lumps. The ABWLNJ hosted a Pink & Black Affair for breast cancer research. We created our signature "For A Cure" ButterScotch mini cupcakes & "For A Cure" Devils Food Cake mini cupcakes topped with Amaretto ButterCream and Belgian Chocolate shavings . As "Welcome" Favors for the guest we created Strawberry chocolate drenched pretzels & Double Chocolate Dipped Hand Brushed Strawberry Oreos.The event was lovely and all of the guest were amazing. We met some courageous women who are survivors of breast cancer. We were so touched by one superwomen who said she is a 2 time survivor. Talk about a triumph.
We dedicate this Sugar Lumps Event to Wendy Carson a long time breast cancer fighter who lost the battle with breast cancer this year. We miss & love you Wendy.
